Significant hike  Quads

This is a redo of a former cache I owned here. Previously, the cache was located directly in the cave but too many muggles come up here and kept destroying. So now the cache is located off to the side and up the hill a ways to keep it out of site.

This cache is a small plastic box located under a rock near a bush next to the large hole in the the wall along Seepage Road. There is a side road that will take you near a water trough. You will have to park and do some climbing. The climb can be strenuous, especially if you come from near sea level like me. I am not sure if this is a natural cave or a man made exploratory mineshaft. The Creede area is littered with hundreds of exploratory mineshafts dug during the silver boom.

 Hints

There are some large bushes next to a small steam. The rocks are located next to those bushes.

I did have some trouble getting a good GPS reading due to the cliffs in the area, I think. I let it average the reading for a good five minutes. If someone has a better reading, please take note and fell free to email the coordinates. Thanks.

FTF WOOHOO ... Good climb for a fat, old (78), flatlander. A little difficult to locate; my GPS showed about 22 feet off GZ. I only slipped once on the scree & skinned the elbow. But my long sleeve shirt saved most of the skin. I try to step on the grass clumps in the scree, but in some places the loose stuff is all there is. TFTFun
