Our family of 5 has created a fun caching experience for all ages to enjoy!  Take a treasure, leave a treasure.  We can't wait to learn about who visits our first ever geocache.

Take 46PP through Rio Grande National Forest following signs to Mosquito Lake.  Approximately 19 miles from Villa Grove, Colorado or 6 miles from Bonanza, Colorado.  High clearance vehicle may be necessary.  If you plan to enjoy the lake, bring insect repellent.

This is our family's very first geocache.  We've left some treasures in the cache (Happy Rocks) for our first few visitors.  We hope you enjoy them.

I was fishing up at the lake today and my buddy over heard the family talking about maintaining this geocache. When they returned from their hike, I asked them and they gave me a description. My buddy and I were about to find it. There’s some awesome rocks in the container. We did not take or leave anything. I was just excited there’s a geocache there!

We wished we would have had more time to spend around the lake. There was hunting going on in the area, and we didn't have any orange clothing with us. The cache was easy to find. We picked the one-eyed green guy. Loved the idea. Thanks.
