If you are looking for outdoor recreation this is the place to visit. From biking, river rafting, picnicing and geocaching to craft fairs, soccor or resting peacefully under a shady tree. This park has it all. However, walk westward a short distance and the aroma may stop you in your tracks. Hang in there, a little further down the path and down the rock steps you will find the cache.

Bring your swimsuit and water shoes. After you log the cache, take time to enjoy the little beaches along the Animas the City of Durango has created for our enjoyment. The water is cool and refreshing!

This cache may not be accessible during high water or in the winter depending on snow conditions. Use extreme caution during high water. Your feet may get mucky depending on conditions. Bring a writing instrument.
