Drive-up cache in an elegant location (or hike in for some exercise). You must email me with the answer to a question to validate your visit. For the more adventuresome, park the car and walk in; it's about a mile to the cache with a gentle upgrade much of the time.
According to GC1D37, Boulder County doesn't allow placing caches on public land. This one is on state land, but since I'm not sure of the rules there - and since this is a location worth visiting by locals and tourists alike - I'm establishing this as a virtual cache.

You can actually drive right up to the cache location, but drive slowly and carefully on the road in. Or you can park outside and hike in - not too steep a grade and more time this way to really see the surrounding scenery.

When you arrive at the site, you will see a large information sign. At the top left, there is a greeting: "Welcome to XXX XXXXXXXX XXXXXX XXXXX."

To validate your visit, please email me the four words following the "Welcome to." PLEASE DO NOT POST THE WORDS IN IN YOUR LOG, EVEN IF ENCRYPTED. LOGS WITH THE ANSWER WILL BE DELETED.
Enjoy your visit!

Beautiful and hot day here today!

Mrs. Herndonrd had a horse thing between Longmont and Boulder so I spent a couple of days getting some virtuals, earthcaches, and assorted others up in the area. FeartheFish tagged along for part of it. Nice park although the road is a bit rough in places. More people there than I thought there would be. TFTC!

Found with EasternGirls. While there wasn't much for us to "do" since we aren't climbers or steep trail... climbers... we enjoyed the Visitor's Center. I put my feet in the freezing water to cool down. Wow, putting those socks back on was great! I also learned that the hummingbirds at my house are not Ruby-Throated, but Broad-Tailed. Interesting. TFTV!

Day 5 of an epic 6 day journey out to the western frontier. I had some vacation time that I needed to burn up by the end of the year, and what better way to use it than to go Geocaching! My main goal was to find caches in New Mexico and Nevada, which would complete my map in the western US. The rest of the 4 remaining states are on the East Coast. Secondary goals were to find oldies, mostly virtuals, and high favorited caches. The only bad part of the trip was that it rained every single day of my vacation.

I headed south out of MN on Sunday and returned home on Friday.
Sunday - Drive all the way through to Colorado (15 hours!)
Monday - Cache in and around Denver and Colorado Springs, with an attempt at Pike's Peak (closed at Mile 14)
Tuesday - Head south towards GC19 and then west through Wolf Creek Pass
Wednesday - Four Corners monument and west towards Nevada
Thursday - After a night in Richfield, UT, head east through the skiing areas of Colorado towards Nebraska
Friday - The long drive home

Thanks to all the cache owners for placing these caches for me to find and for keeping the oldies going all these years.
Thanks for the quick virtual!

Enjoying the State Park and trails. Were here earlier in the year, but didn’t have a chance to hike. A little cool today for Georgians, but we survived! Answer sent. TFTC

My muggle hubby and I are visiting from Missouri. Our granddaughter is graduating today from high school. The graduation ceremony was here in Boulder, so after the ceremony we took a drive up here to get me a couple virtuals and traditionals. Thanks for placing and maintaining, answers sent.
