National Beheading Day is today. Hold onto your hat. And, make certain to keep your head screwed on tight.

Every once in a while, we happen upon a special day that has no apparent rhyme or reasoning. We can't imagine why someone would create this day. It defies logic. But, National Beheading Day is very prolific on the net. So, therefore, it warrants a few (very few) words.

Throughout histroy, beheadings have occurred. The list is long, including commoners and Kings. The most notable king to be beheaded was Charles I of England in 1645.

While this is a big day, don't go crazy and lose your head. In addition to protecting your neck, we suggest you spend this day reading about famous beheadings.

Well, we walked all da way to the Spruce Hide, so why not keep on walking the rest of the way to this one too. Made a pretty quick find, but you always have to wonder what happens after your head is off. Are you still conscious for a minute or two or is it lights out right away. TFTC.

Thanks, imusttravel2000, for placing and maintaining this cache. We found it in great shape and enjoy all the caches we find as a family.

For 2018 we are working on really getting back into Caching. To do this we are upping our enthusiasm and the number of our cache trips. This is cache number 6178 for us. We have also hidden 244 so we understand and appreciate the effort that goes into maintaining a cache. Thanks again and go have fun.

I've been working on finding more caches in February. I remembered coming over here in summer and being terrified I'd find a snake, so a cold winter day seemed like a good time to come back. As I walked over here I was surprised at how cold my face got. The rest of me was nice and warm, so I sucked it up and got down to business. The cache is in good shape - signed the log and off to the next one. Thanks for the smiley! Find #2113.
