When Woodland Park decided to remove their Wooden Welcome sign that was located by the McDonalds and replace it with the new electronic one we felt it took some of the characteristics away from our awesome town. We had this cache ready to be placed for quite some time and when we drove past the sign today we knew this was the perfect location to place it. 

Great place for a photo opp with the sign!!

I went to Woodland Park with hammerhead53 for Oktoberfest and to grab some caches in the area. Great weather.
Good coords took me right to it.
Cache is in good shape, TFTC.

It is better to trust your GPSr than geosense here; t should get you closer to GZ. I started where my unit led me, then followed my geosense uphill, then went back down again, and finally looked around until I spotted something. So after five minutes I had the container in hand. Good job and TFTC!

Started an epic caching weekend by checking out the fire tower, then meandering south along Rampart Range Road. Met up with Billkat and GoMRT for a fun hike this morning, and then was one cache combo away from completing the "difficult day" challenge, and this one fit the bill! Hooray!!! Thanks for placing this cache!
