!!!!!NOT AT THE POSTED COORDINATES! POSTED COORDINATES ARE FOR NEARBY PARKING!!!!

YOU MUST SOLVE THE PUZZLE TO FIND THE COORDINATES TO THE CACHE!!

Back to Hogwarts

- School Trunk If you are pretty knowledgeable in all things Potteresque, the difficulty is a 2.5, if not, and you have to do a little research, then a 3.5.

Just under 1/2 mile round- trip from parking coordinates.

This cache is Harry Potter/Hogwarts themed, and stocked with all sorts of Back-to-Hogwarts items, including a shoulder-style back-pack,water-bottle carrier, parchment, quills, and erasers. Hogwarts crest items include: Water bottles Folders Harry Potter Trading Cards There are other items for the entire family.

**If you are a Potter-fan, please bring something you consider ”Magical” and are willing to trade for.

The “school trunk” is located in the same park that I found my first cache.

The last five digits of each coordinate (North and West) will have to be solved before you embark, so choose wisely. For Potter fans, you will probably find this a cinch, but for those who have lived without magic (Muggles and Sqibbs), it may be more of a challenge. All of the answers can be found in your text “A history of Magic”, by Bathilda Bagshot, or by going to the Harry Potter Lexicon, or other sites...

Example: you are solving for North, 39 degrees, the next digit will be the answer to question one, the second to answer number two, etc. The same pattern will follow for the West coordinates. ***

Depending on the season, you could be viewed by Muggles, so wear your invisibility cloak!!!

**** Good Luck!!!!!

I'm in the process of solving as many geoarts and Puzzles in the Texas area and some neighboring states.I'm leaning to start in Colorado Springs and travel thru Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma and finally Texas and take about 10 days doing so. My main focus would be to sign the oldest caches in each state as I'm very close to finishing my Jasmir and something I would like to complete this year. Anything else I sign on this adventure is just another bonus in my books. You Never Know Where The Road Will Take You or who you will meet on your path. The hard part for some is actually getting on the road. I’m not afraid of the road; I play on the road!

Found this cache with animjason and Bhob. I haven't seen any of the movies, but I'll get Sissadies to read the books to me when I am older. Thanks for the fun puzzle.

Thanks isisfan! Logged Back to Hogwarts - School Trunk from a ninth galaxy using c:geo!

Was in the area again, and saw this had been replaced. Brought a spare just in case and glad I did. Found with BearAdair and Bhob. After it appeared nothing was here, we left a large/long pill bottle for the CO.

Adding photo to help the search. Thanks for a fun puzzle. Can't wait to see the new Fantastic Beasts movie.

Found this after solving the puzzle over the weekend with a couple of Harry Potter enthusiasts! Log was wet and may need replacing. I'm not sure how moisture gets into that container. TFTC!

My daughter helped me with the coordinates. We checked and the answers were correct. Headed to the location but could not locate the container or anything in the area.

I'm sorry to say, cache has been muggled or destroyed. Nothing left but bits of plastic, a rotting log page, and a toy pog. Luckily I had a replacement micro cache with me. I replaced to give cachers something to sign until the cache owner can replace. Cache is a camoed container, hanging on a tree remnant, at ground zero.

This container is missing, so I'll start with a NM before a NA log. Needs to be replaced.

Bummer, no luck today! I did find peices of the lid and a cookie cutter(?) trinket at gz that were buried in a bunch of sticks.

We were in the area for GWS with geoprof123 and stopped by this one while staying in the Conifer area . Really enjoyed the caches in the area. Like the open space caches. This area is loaded with great caches. GF fav point.
