[Estes Park is one of my all time favorite places to visit. It can get very crowded in the summer but there is plenty of parking. Rocky Mountain National Park is close by, plenty to do and see there. Hiking, biking, looking for Elk...it's just beautiful. In order to verify your visit to this Virtual location, please send me a photo of the statue at this location. First find of six today. Came up here to visit Rocky Mountain National Park and stopped in town for a couple caches first. Took our pic here and then continued on our journey. Thanks for the cache! BigSmile

I drove up the canyon to Estes Park today with my puppies Orizaba and Chimborazo to do a bit of hiking and to find some caches. This Virtual was an important one on my caching agenda. I have found all of the approximately 170 still-active "original" (that is, pre-Reward) Virtuals in Colorado and own "Colorado's Virtual Matrix Challenge"--the only challenge cache dealing with the fantastic Virtuals placed throughout the state. I'm now working on finding the Reward Virtuals in Colorado. This one is the closest to my home of all those I haven't yet found. So I was excited to get to the coordinates and take the required photo. When I get the photos off my camera and into the computer I will post a photo. Thanks for this nice Virtual!
