Located in Fox Run Regional Park, a short hike from the east parking lot, the cache is placed in view of the Fox Run Park Pet Memorial Christmas Tree, just off an easy trail. The park is family and dog friendly, and a favorite hiking place of my dog, JC. The cache has log only, please bring your own pen.

The Fox Run Park Pet Memorial Christmas Tree is decorated between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Day to celebrate the lives of pets who have gone on to the Rainbow Bridge, and have meant so much to their owners. I first saw the tree about 5 years ago, after coming to Fox Run Park for over 5 years with JC, and have appreciated the sentiment of the joy that pets bring to our lives.

The Christmas tree is located to the west of the cache site. If you have come to the park during any other time of the year, you won’t see the beautifully decorated tree, so please, if you can, come back during the holiday season. You can read the history of the Christmas tree in the image posted here.

I hope you enjoy the hunt as this is my first cache.
