As the title implies, this Wherigo is at high elevation. DO NOT attempt this if you are not physically capable of strenuous hiking at high altitudes. We would also not recommend this as your first Wherigo Geocache. Try one of these if you are new to Wherigos.

This Wherigo will take you on a hike to both Gray's Peak (14,278 ft.) and Torrey's Peak (14,275 ft.). This adventure will take you all day, hence the D/T rating.

Download the Wherigo cartridge and fill your packs. Please be safe as there is a true risk to your safety if you do not take precautions. While not required, we recommend you hike with at least one other.

Wherigo™ Cache

Wherigo is a toolset for creating and playing GPS-enabled adventures in the real world. By integrating a Wherigo experience, called a cartridge, with finding a geocache, the geocaching hunt can be an even richer experience. Among other uses, Wherigo allows geocachers to interact with physical and virtual elements such as objects or characters while still finding a physical geocache container. A Wherigo-enabled GPS device is required to play a cartridge. Learn more at Wherigo.com.

Answers to the questions can be found on this page. The final is a fully stocked gold ammo can.

It is highly likely that Wherigo cartridges will not play well on GPS devices. It is recommended that you use a smartphone.

Boo hoo. While I did complete the Whereigo, I couldn't find physical cache (which is presumably the requirement for logging here, although I see a lot of people below did not. . .). I spent a solid 10 minutes circling the coordinates. Since it was recently found, I knew it was there. . .somewhere. Grrrr. To add insult to injury, I couldn't find the caches on Torrey or Grays, either. But I did bag a couple 14kers, so not all was lost!

Hiking Grays and Torreys Peaks today with KJKlock. We were on the trail by 4 AM and made good time today. This was our fifth stop to find and locate the cache. This was a fun whereigo but it malfunctioned for me. It registered that I climbed Grays first but by the time I got to Torreys it was not showing that I had previously climbed Grays! Thankfully we had cell service and were able to get ahold of the cache owner for a little help. That's where the challenge really started. I spent over 25 minutes searching for this golden container before something FINALLY caught my eye. So glad to find it and sign my John Hancock on the log. Not too many signatures on it as previously stated. Thanks for your hard work and well hidden cache container here, awarding you a well deserved favorite point.

Found GC5A3EY - Highest Wherigo in the World, on September 12, 2017 using Cachly for iOS.

Some may call me seriously mentally ill. Some may state that I am in a state of mind that prevents social interaction. Some may say I am in a state of mind that prevents normal perception and or behavior. I prefer to say that I tend to do the same thing over and over again, but I expect different results. That being said, I believe we only live one life and I am trying to make the best of it. I thank you, Memfis Mafia for placing a fun geocache to fuel my "insanity" or addiction as I call it. I appreciate you bringing me here so that I can sign my alias on a piece of paper that you have hidden.

I look forward to finding more of your geocaches. I also look forward to potentially finding geocaches with you one day and sharing stories of our insanity... I mean hobby or addiction? Cheers!

Hiked up to Grays & Torreys. Grabbed your cache on the way down. Not many names in there! Picked up the trackable. Tftc!

A name change could be possible for this one as another Wherigo out there could be higher. If that other one is ever found the crown may have to be passed as that was the hopes in naming this cache originally.

Always elevate the game!

Congrats on the recent find - this is a great cache to have on the watchlist However it might need a name change
