 Hints

If you can't spot this one, it is missing. It is above winter snow height and not attached to a live tree. If it is not seen high then someone did not screw bottom on tight enough to cap and if fell to ground, or the hanger broke. Please look around on ground for a camo pint size water bottle. If you find cache please return it to the hanger. or hang it again with nylon cord.

Started this one from the Winter Park base on 152 and my Nuvi got me the rest of the way. My 4wd F-150 got me to the cache and I would not have made it any further as the road has experienced a gully washer. I did not see any large animals, but I did chase a mountain grouse up the road! Cache is in good shape after 2 years of no finds. I also found a couple of really old horseshoes nearby and placed them on the log by the cache. Fun one, cheers!

Almost drove all the way to this one. Had to park a little under a mile down the road and walk. An ORV will make it just fine, I only have a stock SUV. Cache is no longer on the hanger but tucked away safely on top of a large log as seen in previous photo. I love going after caches that are off the beaten path, this one is on a beat up path.

I had planned on getting this one after it was published last year but just never made it over here. I suggested it to sepfind for an outing today and he and roc buff joined me. They may have a story about a girl on a dirt bike wiping out just past where we parked to start our walk.

When we got to GZ I spotted the hanger, but there was no cache attached. We started looking around and roc buff spotted it on the ground under a nearby log about 6-7 feet away. There was no way to reattach it the way you originally had it, so I strapped it to the log about head high.

I picked up the TB , we had a nice snack and headed back down the road. Thanks for getting us out on a beautiful day.
