Dancing in the Dark

In honor of a forthcoming evening event cache, “Fire in the Sky” (GC1D1XE) by Queen Zelda, I thought it would be fun to set a cache that you could find day or night, then do a little dance near the cache, Hokey-Pokey, Square Dance, or Boogie Down in the nearby meadow.

There are no reflectors leading you here, but a decent flashlight will do after sundown.

This letterbox hybrid Cache has a hand-carved stamp of a person dancing. If you collect impressions of letterbox stamps, remember to leave the stamp and inkpad in the cache. You can stamp or sign the log, and I left a crayon to rub over the stamp when it’s too cold for the inkpad to work.

The cache is a large ammo can with lots of goodies to start, including:

- Stevie Wonder CD

- Last Days of Disco Sountrack CD

- Toys forthe kiddos

- Willie Wonka & The Chocolate Factory Soundtrack CD (Do the Oompa-Loompa!)

- Free I tunes downloads

- and other fantabulous prizes!

Please hide well when you are done!

Who knows? Maybe you will dance your way to "The Pancake Breakfast" (GC1D50B)

Picked this one up while on business in Fairplay. Letterbox Hybrids aren't very common, so I thought a short side trip was in order to pick this one up. I had some difficulty navigating the back roads, but persistence finally paid off and I was soon headed in the right direction. I was able to find the cache in good order, but of course that would have made things too simple. I dropped my pen and it rolled...I spent way more time hunting for my pen than I did the cache. Figures. Thanks to the CO for placing this nice cache out here for everyone to find...it is always a treat to pick up a Letterbox Hybrid. The cache and contents are still in great shape. TFTC.

Fun cache! Was up for the day on my aunt's land. Took a sec because of bad GPS accuracy. Found with two geodogs! Cool swag! TFTC!

Find #6153 (5 of 13 finds with 0 DNF for the weekend) as part of an awesome caching cerw on a lovely (but cold) geocaching and 14'er climbing weekend. Some caches were easy, others were hard simply because of the hikes; all were awesome! TNLNSL - cache is in good condition. Thank you isisfan!
