Good views of the horses at 12 Mile Stables hence the name.  This is our first cache placement so I appologize if we messed this up, but when a father can get his 16 year old daughter to do anything with him it's a plus.

Adjacent to but outside of 12 Mile Stables.  Also close to the dog park.Pretty easy to find and not difficult to get to- but watch out for snakes and ticks!  Only a few yards off of the horse trail.

You can hike or bike into the park for free. Otherwise it requires park entry plus I think the dog park is an extra $ but it is the only place to park. Please don't go onto 12 Mile Stables unless you are doing business with them (take a trail ride!).

This afternoon I had a dentist appointment nearby, as I like to keep my teeth nice and shiny to blind the cache owner since he always makes me smile. So it seemed only fitting that I find this cache afterwards.

The young gentleman at the gate had never heard of geocaching, but let me in for free anyway when he realized I did not have a dog. No complaints from me.

PayMeCache told me in advance that this was a difficult hide and it might take me a while. Thus, I was not at all surprised to find it in the first place I looked, proving once again that his words and reality do not always coexist. After I signed the log and put everything back in place I maneuvered through mud and horse droppings and made it back to the car unscathed. Thanks for the fun hide.

I renewed my park pass last week and decided to come over and grab this cache while the weather is so beautiful. The walk over was amazing and I found a well-maintained cache witj a travel bug inside. I grabned the travel bug to move it along in it's Adventures. Tftc!
