This is a traditional cache with a few swap items for the kids. We visit this area ever year with a group of friends and camp nearby... It has become one of our favorite spots! Placed near a clear waterfall along Segment 8 of the Colorado Trail with our friends while camping in the area. This location is the start of a short hike along the Colorado Trail, so stick around and enjoy this beautiful area!

Camp Hale was an Army training location for the 10th Mountain Division. There is a lot of history in the area, including remains of old buildings & shooting ranges. Venturing out further, you'll find old huts and plenty of information about the facility.

Please be sure that the cache is secure when re-hiding to make sure it stays in place!

TFTC!
Fairly easy access along the Colorado Trail. Nice creek to soak your feet in after a long day of hiking.

Out with Geowife picking up a few north of Leadville. Nice pleasant surprise at GZ. Never would have known about the falls without Geocaching. As you can see by the picture, the lack of rain this season is quite obvious, nevertheless a great location. Removed candy from the cache so it would not attract animals or ants.

Awesome place. Never knew the falls were here. Met some very nice folks from Delaware on the way up. Took nothing. Left Richmond dog.
