This is a nice cache close to the high tension power lines running through Hartman Rocks.

I have been wanting to place this cache for quite a while, but hadn't decided on a name. There are three reasons for the name of the cache. The first is obvious when you get to the cache. The name pretty much tells you where the cache is located. The second is the shortest approach to the cache - a 4-wheel trail (I wouldn't call it a road necessarily). I had to use first gear 4-wheel low to get up to the cache site. Although this is the shortest path to the cache, you don't have to go this way. You can also get to the cache site from the main entrance to Hartman Rocks - it's over 3.5 miles out to the cache this way though. The third reason for naming the cache is that once you get to it, you'll have difficulty getting it out easily. No matter how you go, you'll have "high tension" going after this cache. I took my camera thinking I might get a photo from the cache site, but there's nothing much of interest from there. You can see Gold Basin Road down below and that's about it. The cache is at 8342 feet. You can park within about 100 feet of the cache.

Tension in my shoulders! Challenging trek by myself seeing as I'm not that brave. Almost gave up but persisted and glad I did. Well done! And a great view from the top. I parked about 1/3 mile away and did a baby hike up.

TFTC, out caching with CB_Beauty around Hartmans. This was the final for the day and glad it was, as we hiked in the heat for several hours and although I had plenty of water, there was no relief from the sun. Easy find.

TFTC! We walked here from Bambi's trail to get a couple of Flutise's caches. We then did half of Sawtooth and a short bushwack to the Powerline road to get to the cache. It made for an interesting loop back to the main road and the car.

Out with Farm Girl and Olive making a big loop around Colorado. We went through Gunnison, Montrose, Silverton, Durango, and then spending the night in Pagosa Springs. I found the right road and up the hill we went. I got to the top of the hill and then it was a short walk over to make the find.[8d][8d] SL TFTC TNLN
