Mahican

A confederacy of Native People of the Eastern Woodlands with an Algonquian language. They occupied both banks of the Hudson River, almost to Lake Champlain. The Mohegans were a tribe of the Mahican group; both have been called Mohicans. By 1664 the Mohawk had driven the Mahicans East to Massachusetts. Their complete dispersal was hastened when their enemies were armed by the Dutch.

Its been a long hot summer in Texas, I've been trying to get out and do a caching trip a couple of times this summer, but it never worked out. Finally managed to get a week off, and am so happy to be out here in Colorado. The weather if perfect, and there is a load of caches that need my name on Smile Thanks so much for the hide mondou2, I really enjoyed finiding this cache!

LIve Wire 77 and I caching the eastern plains to finish up the Hidden Creatures goal of 100. We found 35 of 35, only needed 31. My favorite place to cache; beautiful views, dirt roads, and wide open spaces. Thank you for placing this cache so we could enjoy the game. sl
