If you have a 4WD vehicle, you can get pretty close to this cache. If not, park along Deadman Road and hike in. Each cache in this series goes a little further back toward the Lavabo cache. The terrain will get more challenging the closer you get to it.

You're looking for a large camo'd bullet with room only for a log.  BYOP!

Note that if you're a camper, the very best camping spot in the world is just north of this cache!

Thanks for the series. Decided to skip a couple on the way in. Gave me a chance to look at the scenery and saved some fun for the way back. So went straight from #1 to here. Forest service stuck some posts and a no vehicles sign in the middle of the road a bit past #`1, so camping here takes a bit of walking now. Still looks like a great site.
