If you have a 4WD vehicle, you can get pretty close to this cache. If not, park along Deadman Road and hike in. Each cache in the series goes a little further back toward the Lavabo cache. The terrain will get more challenging the closer you get to it.

You're looking for a small, camo'd container with room only for a log and a coin.  BYOP!

Note that if you're a camper, the very best camping spot in the world is just northeast of this cache!

Fun time in Red Feathers Lake with C-3 and 2lablovers. Took time to find. Decided to quit due to the weather coming our way.

Traveled to Red Feather Lakes today to cache with friends Chihuahuas-3 and Bogey39. Great day in a beautiful area. This one took us a while as there were lots of trees fitting the hint. Checked the altitude here - 9495 feet ! Thunder and lightning made us decide not to proceed down the road any further.
