We didn't plan on doing any geocaching today, just out hiking and enjoying a beautiful spring day. My son stumbled upon the hiding spot and while he was looking at it he spotted the cache. Thanks for the hide!

Okay, we didn't find it, but that was expected based on the logs. For the purpose of refreshing this cache, we had a camo pill bottle and log with us. When we got to the GZ, we placed the cache in a likely spot in hopes that it might get a few finds before being blown to smithereens or muggled. Our GPSr was a little squirrelly today and we ended up bushwacking to the GZ more than we had to. Although there is a spot on the trail where the cache is a little over 350 ft. uphill to the north, we recommend staying on the main trail until you get to N39 22.989 W105 06.406. At this point you depart the main trail on a faint trail up the hill then follow the faint trail east to the cache. It's a slightly longer walk, but you like to walk or you wouldn't be here. :) While you're in the neighborhood you can make quick work of the 800 Ringtails cache. We took nothing, left cache, signed log. Thanks for bringing us to this mechanical graveyard so we can play!

I poked all around the mechanical bits, as well as the nearby sign. No cache. I didn't have one with me to replace it either.

Found the namesake, but didn't locate any medicine bottles. Son and I searched the general vicinity to no avail.
