This cache is set in honor of the Peewanu Benchmark that's listed at elevation 8899. I wish I could pass along some great information about what the heck Peewanu means or how it's pronounced. But I can't, so I guess pronounce it however you want. This is the second of three caches we set today along Little Bear Lake Trail. We rode our ATVs in from Divide Road via Rocky Pitch, but you can get in with a 4WD from other roads. And Little Bear Creek Trail is a good 4WD road. The cache is hidden under a large boulder obscured by some suspicious rocks. It's a small plastic container about the size of a deck of playing cards. Log only - BYOP
