The Lockbox is an on-site puzzle. The challenge is to open The Lockbox and sign the log.

The Lockbox was formerly on the LoBo Trail in Longmont.  It has moved because Bouder County Open Space delared the area South of the LoBo trail off limits.  The container is now located just outside the Boyd Lake State Park boundary.

Start at the trailhead and follow the fence line East and then South to the rockpile

NO TOOLS ARE REQUIRED!

Do not pry, bend, gouge or otherwise try to force it open. It really is very simple.

Be very careful on the rock pile!  Please replace the container in the plastic bag to protect it from the weather.

Here we go, Caching our way to the NoCo Geo-Night Out in Loveland. Heck with the walk, I broke out the geo-bike and off I went. Spent several minutes searching the area for this cache. Finally waved the white flag and called the CO. Little did I know, I was just above the cache the first time I had started searchingShock. Boy did I work work up a good sweat looking for this cache. We had found this cache at its previous location about 5 or 6 years ago. I did remember what I needed to do to access the cache. Its great to have this cache back up and in play again. Now its off to the event. Very nice hide and camo, SL,TNLN,TFTC

Really enjoyed the short walk to GZ from parking, I've lived less than 10 minutes from here for over 15 years and had no idea this was back here. Took a couple minutes to find the container, and then accessed the log fairly quickly after that. I found this cache at its previous location over 7 years ago, and fortunately I remembered what I needed to do. Great to have this one back in play, and much closer to home for me! Thanks for a very fun cache!

Co-FTF at 1:30pm with blackfire5th although credit goes to geowife as she is the one that figured out how to get into the box. Blackfire5th and I pondered over it for a bit thinking of various solutions. Finally as the rain was threatening she said let me look at it and then said what about this and that was the answer! Excellent hide! Gets a favorite point. Thanks for the hide!
