Much of the area along the Cache La Poudre River is designated natural area by the city of Fort Collins. As such, geocaches cannot be hidden in these natural areas per city rules. However, there are some breaks in the coverage, like where this cache is hidden.

To access the cache, please use the Poudre Trail. The closest parking is listed in the additional waypoints. The closest parking is at Prospect Ponds Natural Area, but you can also park at the CSU Environment Learning Center. If you're like me, the best way to acces this cache is by bike. The Poudre Trail is a true gem and I use it several times a week to get around town.

Haha, well it’s been a long time sense I got a FTF but today was a good day for one! There’s not exactly a shortcut to this one, so after a little walk then had a minute to hunt. Not so quick find for me! Lots of potential hiding spots but eventually turned it up. A blank log was a pleasure for sure. Really fun area and thanks for taking me here as well as TFTC|SL
