Use the East Vail I-70 exit. Cache uses a spot once held by GC1124E. Placement and container are a little different though.
Short walk from roadside parking into a beautiful park with beaver pond, playground and great views. (Best thing is that there is parking, a rare commodity in Vail.)

I looked for about 20 minutes and didn’t find it. I’m confused because a lot of people have said that it is easy but it wasn’t very easy for me. I’ll probably try again tomorrow.

No luck. Tried 2 times on 7/31/17. 45 min the 1st time and 20 minutes the 2nd after we changed into closed shoes to brave the ants. Spider webs galore, but came up empty. Grand kids so disappointed on their 1st geo-caching outing. FYI to others - no need to wade across the creek.
