This cache is located on the Grand Mesa. It is a short walk on an asphalt trail to an area with terrific views of several lakes on the Mesa and surrounding mountains and towns. Be sure to bring mosquito repellent with you!
To access the trail take the Grand Mesa/Powderhorn Ski Area exit from I-70. This will be Highway 65. Follow the highway to the top of the Grand Mesa. Look for the Land-o-Lakes sign. There is a parking area and picnic table by the trail. The path is a loop so you can go either direction. Go all the way to the top and enjoy the view before looking for the cache. Original contents are: 2 pencils, wrist runner wallet, deck of cards, Colorado keychain, Celestial Seasonings magnet, super ball, glow bracelet, post-it notepad, and dinosaur sticker book.

Up here yesterday evening with church group for vespers. Many know we are geocachers so were curious about what was in the area. Had good signal so was able to show them the plethora of caches available. Did not actually touch this cache as had just rained and approach was soggy and wet but did point out it's exact location. Primarily logging to visit a passel of Tbugs.
