To find this cache you have to get lost.
This cache is in a green plastic ammo box. The original contents are : A log book
a bottle of water
rain poncho
emergency blanket
power bait
and a kids bug jar
This is a great area for fishing, hunting, hiking etc. We didn't leave a camera in this one, but would highly recommend bringing one of your own due to the beautiful scenery. There are TONS of mosquitoes so be sure to wear some heavy duty bug spray. Also, there is now a $5 day fee to park by the trail head. You can choose to park by the ranger station and walk the extra way to the trail.

The start of this trail is at N 39.02.730 W 108.005.432. Hike a mile and three quarters back to Lost Lake. Stay on the trail. When you get "lost" at the lake, look up. The cache is under a tree.

think i was at the tree but didnt find anything... at least that is where my gps was pointing... was on a hike with a group of hikers from palisade... lake sure is low but a beautiful aquamarine color....

Spent a little while looking and hiding under trees to avoid the rain. Muggles soon arrived in droves, about 40 in a single group! Nice pleasant hike to a beautiful lake, so I might make it back for another search.

Beautiful hike and lake, even with the mosquito crowd. Terrain is a 3 but the scramble to the cache was a bit higher for me. TFTC.

Found with my brother adad28 and sister freshayer on vacation with our mom!!tftc!! Picked up a travel bug tag that is missing it's travel companion! It's name is all locked up! I will log it and drop it again!!
