Camouflaged "Bertie" tube tethered to a tree on the path to a Giant Amongst Trees. Winter friendly if you can get to it.

We were driving the back roads of Colorado looking for a cache and wondering why there were not more around. We placed 2 near the location of the cache we were searching for. Should be an easy find.

I looked for this cache for quite a while getting frustrated a bit. I finally located this cache about 30 east of my GZ. TFTC.

We be two ole farts (and a dog) from Arkansas. We left home in mid August and have vowed to not return til we have a 1,000 caches in the bag. We left with 150+ replacement caches - if yours is cracked or wet, we will replace it. If there are 3+ DNF's we will replace it.

Took a while to locate this one. Searched all over where my GPS kept leading me. Thundering in the distance so i read a couple of logs and decided to extend my search area and quickly give it one more try. Found it about 30 feet from where GPS kept sending me and headed back before the rain came. So many hiding places!!! TFTC SL

FTF: 1:15pm. So this one was more of a challenge than #1. We looked all over for it and couldn't spot it. Decided to go look for the giant tree cache and then try again. (Found the new cache at the giant tree after a bit of a search. I want to say it is well camoed since it is pretty much in the open.) Then came back to this cache and gps took us to a different clump of trees and I spotted it. Thanks for both the hides. This one gets a favorite since it had us circling for a while.
