Dont acess through the parking lot near the alpine slide if on a rodeo night, you will get bust-ed, for trying to sneak into the rodeo. you may go that way if not on a rodeo night.

I was out last fall when I really didn't know what I was doing and could not find it did not log. Reading the other logs and spending a half-hour there today I think it's gone

As we headed through town towards Pearl Lake campground we spotted banners for the rodeo so made a plan to spend an evening here. How exciting, then to discover a geocache on-site to boot! The little flamingos and friends were happy to climb on the rocks and stick their hands in all the crevices (which I was not going to do).

I grew up at these rodeo grounds — long before it was so commercialized and “fancy”! We did jackpot rodeos here on Friday nights all summer — long before the Romicks — we flat saddle raced at the big 4th of July celebration — and we chariot and cutter raced here all winter. Man has this place changed! Thanks for bringing me and the memories!
