I parked near the RM ORS #09-09 cache below the summit and hiked up from there. Plenty of Jeeps going by on the road but saw no other hikers. The container is a little tattered but still watertight. I thought I saw another cache container further down in the rocks, but when I got it out, it was just a spent shell! TFTC!

Parked at the end of the lower road and hiked up over nice grassy meadows. Cache is in good shape - thanks!

Hey zoltig, I wanna cache with the big dogs, and I can definitely "pee in the tall grass" (mostly because I'm short), but if the road isn't open what are ya gonna do!? Hike, I guess, and WingsAndTales and I are good at that. Just want you to know that our hearts were in it – we tried. Still a worthwhile cache to do because the views are exceptional. Thank you for bringing us up there! A favorite:-)

Estes01 and I have been looking at this one for quite a while. Unfortunately there is no longer 4x4 access to the top. The closest we could get was N39 28.957 W105 53.849. We parked her jeep there and hiked up an old jeep road. It was steep but saved us at least 2 miles over the hike up the ridge from the pass. There were great views from the top of Grays and Torreys Peaks and Breckenridge. It took us a few minutes to find the cache since we forgot that it had been replaced with a smaller container. This is definitely worth a favorite. TFTC

Found it on a perfect day to be in the mountains. Will give it a favorite point for the location and views. Photos really dont do it justice. Thanks to rdad for replacing the cache.
