Walked up on a large bull moose and his female companion while hiking to this cache in the rain.

Missed the trail leaving the parking area, so bushwhacked out to it and walked the trail back to my truck. Wildflowers were insane! Cheers!

It pays to be late making your entries sometimes. Otherwise, we wouldn't know that we barely missed seeing the three moose. GRRRRR! Keeping this cache alive with its original date was a great move! Thanks for the stop. BTW, plenty of water flowing down the trail right now.

What are the odds? This lonely cache gets 2 visits on the same day by different cachers! Favorite anyway!
When we got to the cat, we saw three moose! Can I add another favorite?

Thank you for keeping this cache active. It's located in one of my favorite areas in the whole world. I now consider it a memorial to Cameron P. 2/1/65 -1/18/15, our developmentally disabled son who was named for Cameron pass and who Tahosa kindly made a co owner of this cache. Twelve years back in the logs somewhere CarleenP and I posted about all this.

Well it has only been 4,425 days, or 12 years ~ 1 month ~ 1 week ~ 4 days !!!
Since we gave this cache its re-birth. And guess what that ammo can still looks real good.
Took photos of all of the logs, so there could be some deletions upcoming due to lack of
signatures.

Jazzeykat and I stopped at the top of the pass and made the nice hike up the trail to locate this cache. We had a beautiful day to make our trip down from Laramie to Walden, then SE to Ft. Collins. 14 caches in all for us today and it was very nice to get out of the car and enjoy the walk. All is well with the cache and we found it easily with the aid of our new Garmin 600.
I enjoyed reading logs all the way back to 2006, chronicling this cache's history as well as the folks who have found it before us. That's part of what makes this game so intriguing and far better than carving our initials into trees. Thanks for giving us a great reason to get out of our car and enjoy a little exercise on our road trip. Happy caching!

Made the short hike to this while on a mountain drive today. All is well here in this quiet spot. Thanks for placing this one.
