Geocaching between Durango and Silverton can be difficult at times, the weather changes abruptly, lowlanders have problems breathing and some of the most challenging caches you will find (hopefully).

We decided that we weren't the only geocachers who have searched around these parts and really needed a break. So we planted one ammo can in a nice cool spot a little off of Highway 550, pretty views and a good spot to just sit and recharge the batteries while digging through dimestore treasure.

This was our last search before heading into Silverton. We were already struggling with our balance but gave it a go anyway. We circled the area a couple of times before we spotted it. Nicely hidden. Spent a few more minutes admiring the area. TFTH.

I found this July 20 with shandeejay but my phone service was bad the entire trip so I am just now getting this logged. This took a few minutes because our GPS's were bouncing around. We finally spotted it. Tftc.
