We take camping trips nearby a couple times a year and really enjoy hiking this whole area and enjoying the trail around the lake.  Decided it was time to hide our first cache and this was a group effort to find this great spot! Take a break from fishing and hunt this VERY family friendly cache!

There was a lot of people in this park today. I walked all the way around the lake to find the two caches there including this nifty one. Thanks for a fun one!

Beautiful lake and surrounding area! Stumbled upon the lake when looking for a place to have lunch. Saw a mother deer and two fawns. Was so happy to see that a cache was nearby. Easy walk to location and found right away. Great swag! Took Geocoin (not a trackable), left small figure of mouse from Cinderella. TFTC!

Co-FTF with Glenn of the 3 Williams Kidz. Thanks for giving me a reason to go to Manitou Lake. I haven't been here in forever. Also, picked up the other cache while I was here. 2 for the price of one but I didn't even have to pay. Lucky that we found it right before the rain. Beautiful area and nice cache. Gets a Favorite Point from me. TFTC.

All RIGHTY -- Co-FTF with Granitegrabber at 305pm!
She was kind enough to drive today, as I had shoulder surgery this past Friday and after "recovering" (aka being "cooped up") at home for several days, I was more than willing to get out and walk about a bit. Thankfully, we found a nice clean logsheet when we got to GZ !
We signed and stamped it, left a little swag, traded trackables by grabbing the snowman and dropping off a Balloons trackable (copy tag) of ours, and were on our way.
TFTC, which gets a favorite point for being your first cache, and in a great location to boot !
