Driving 18 miles up the Coffee Pot Springs Road just north of Dotsero, Colorado will take you to the start point of the Broken Rib Trail and you can park along the road before starting the trail. This is a very adventurous area along Coffee Pot Springs and will take you up further to other great lakes and trails too. This is a cache dedicated to my husband Jerry who loved the Broken Rib Trail taking him and his friends and family to camp at Grizzly Creek where he has been memorialed. The cache is just a little below the start of the trail and does not require too much hiking at all. It is a large container full of fun stuff for everyone to enjoy. Winter would not work for you to go there though...
