What a day! I have been looking forward to this for quite a while. I've been working hard and caching has taken a back seat for the last several weeks. I had planned this day off though to geocache with my brother down in Monument. His work schedule afforded him this day off and I've been planning and strategizing on caches for the last several weeks. The weather was beautiful and the caching extremely successful! We found 11 with no DNFs (although we got close a few times) and I filled in two Jasmer squares and FOUR FIZZY squares.

When I was researching what was in the area, I saw this series of caches. I got super excited as I am a pianist and have hidden several music themed caches in the Denver area. I haven't created (yet) or solved a puzzle like this though and had a lot of fun solving all three.

After getting the caches around the lake and a few others, we went over here. I don't know what I was expecting, but it wasn't this! I hadn't read the logs too closely but I sure did after a couple minutes of searching! I was beginning to think this would be our first DNF of the day which made me sad because I loved the puzzle so much. But I didn't want to give up. THANKFULLY one of my hunches eventually turned out to be correct. Not too challenging compared to most hides, just so many options and stealth is, well, it's virtually impossible here. But find it I did and signed the log so it's all good!

Like others, this one took a lot longer to find than it should have. I even sent out a PAF, but before they could respond, I came at it from the right angle, I saw it immediately. As I'm in an a cappella group at CU Boulder, this puzzle was one I could read right off the page! Glad to avenge my DNF from years ago. Thanks for the fun!
