     got the FTF

UPDATE: May 6, 2018. After replacing this cache 4 times I have moved it to a new spot a short distance away. The container is no longer a nano. It is slightly larger than a typical micro with room for a few small swag items. The cache name no longer fits the hiding spot. Best access is from 4th Street.

UPDATE: May 8, 2016. I have replaced this cache three times. Please use stealth in your search. I will not be able to replace it again.

Oh, a storm is threat'ning
My very life today
If I don't get some shelter
Oh yeah, I'm gonna fade away

Nano cache in Centennial Park in Caņon City, near the Arkansas Riverwalk. For several years I thought the name of the park was Duck Park, because that's what everyone seems to call it. If you haven't been to this park you will see how it got its nickname when you get there. Take a few minutes to enjoy the residents of the little pond or pack a lunch and enjoy this popular area.  Park hours are dawn until dusk.

Should be an easy grab, there is close parking. The challenge will be avoiding the muggles who are almost always around this area. I had to go back three times when I was hiding this before I could place it without anyone watching me.

Please place the log into the lid before screwing it back together, then return the container to its original hiding place. Congratulations to Waterwolf&snowkitten for the FTF. You guys are caching maniacs!

#4751. Popped over here after a trip on the railroad to grab this one. GPS had me in circles for a bit, until I spotted the likely hide and soon had it in hand. TFTC!

The construction is finished and the hiding spot was undisturbed. I returned the container and now it is ready to be found again. Cache on!

I went on a cache maintenance run today. There is construction very close to this cache. Although the cache is not in the construction zone it is close enough that there could be a problem. I temporarily removed the container and will disable this cache until the construction is complete. I believe that will be about a month. Gimme Shelter will be back.
