WATER has become the new SILVER in this part of the Rockies!  Enjoy view & sound from bridge over the flow of silver into Silver Jack's Lake.

Located in the Silver Jack Basin, this is one of our favorite places to camp.  20+ miles of maintained dirt roads will bring you in to this National Forest where dispersed camping is available but no water or toilet facilities. We typically pull our 28' RV in, have pulled a 40' without trouble but do not recommend pulling a trailer up from Ridgeway over Owl pass as the road from that side is steep with extremely tight curves and single lane for significant portions although a small popup type trailer can do well.   Large trailers should come in from Hwy 50.  Have checked coords multiple times on different days and they should be very good but if you are using a cell phone you will see extreme bounce in the area.  We would not want you make make this long drive only to have a DNF so see hint for easy find. Enjoy the scenery, tread lightly and always practice CITO!

Drove over Owl Creek Pass last week but didn’t know these were there. Been a little off geocaching since doing almost a 1000 finds in a couple weeks. ??? FTFs are about all we are doing now so thanks for adding to our list.
These two make number 338 & 339 FTFs.
