A continuation of Ghost 6 - North Empire, located at an elevation of 9866 feet

This is a continuation of Ghost 6. It is for those with 4 wheel drive vehicles or high clearance vehicles, or those that want to hike up to it. Its about a mile and a quarter hike uphill, but the bright side of that is that its a mile and a quarter hike DOWN on the way back. This is the original townsite.
The ruins of the foundation across the small creek are from the Conqueror Boarding house I beleive.

The cache is a plasic 35mm film container and contains a name and a code word. Email me the name and the code word to get crecit for this cache. The first one to find this cache, and the first ones to hike to this cache can have a vial of placer gold if they want. Arrangements can be made to get it to you.

Visiting the area doing some caches rally enjoyed the Virt's and EC'S answers follow. Busy week with Bike Races and Leadville 100. Also did the Colorado star while here. Enjoyed the area and mines and visiting old ghost towns .

Team Red Rubicon and some additional friends went jeeping to Bill Moore Lake and then on Mill Creek. We had nine vehicles today! The trail was fun but Mill Creek was a bit of a challenge for some of us. And it was a long day--we got off the trail around 7:30pm!

It took us a little longer than we expected to find this one but finally, Takes the Hard Way spotted it. We signed the log, replaced the cache and moved on up the trail to Bill Moore Lake!
