Cache at an old cabin on Sheep Creek Trail (the road... not the actual trail). Park in the dirt cul de sac that is close by. Terrain is relatively flat. You are at an elevation of 10,141 feet.Decided to finally hide my first cache....This cache is located at an old cabin. Minor or trapper's cabin?? You decide. The cache is a 35 mm film container. The cabin sits half on public and half on private property. Stay on the side of the barbed wire fence (which is mostly down) closest to the road. To go IN the cabin requires you to go on private property. The terrain is relatively flat here, but you are an an elevation of 10,141 ft. Bring your own pen/pencil. Cache contains a bit of tiny swag. (** Note - You should be able to find this cache in the winter, but it might require a short trudge through some snow to get to it... making the terrain rating a little more difficult at that time.) While you're here, drive on up to the Sheep Creek Trail Head (not winter friendly)... there's another cache there!
