Short hike from 12th and Bennett (15 mins) for most.
Legend has it Doc was buried in a temporary grave not in Pioneer (now Linwood) Cemetery because of the frozen ground. He may or may not have been moved. His tombstone, and the site where he may be enjoying eternal rest can be found by hiking up to Linwood Cemetery that overlooks the city of Glenwood Springs. The marked trailhead is located at 12th and Bennett streets in downtown Glenwood.

Thanks for the nice cache. Sweated our way up here with the dog. Glad we were here in the morning while it was still "cool". Enjoyed wandering the cemetary looking at the old graves, then made our way to Doc's grave and the cache. Everything in good condition here.

We hoped to hike to Hanging Lake today but arrived too late to get a parking spot. The alternate plan was to head over here to check out this cool cemetery. We enjoyed the 1/2 mile or so hike uphill, it was a bit tougher since our lungs aren't used to the higher elevation. Only a few other people around this morning so we had lots of time to explore. Thanks cachecoons for bringing us to this awesome spot.
