Round Mountain Summit

Well, that's where I wanted to place this geocache.  The summit of this mountain (actually, more of a hill) is on State Trust Land.  It's fine to enter STL if you have a valid hunting/fishing license.  If you don't, no worries!  The geocache is not at the posted coordinates, those are for the summit.  To figure out where the geocache is, you'll need to figure out the coordinates from the information below and you can find it on public land.

Assume N 39° and W 105°

[4.601, i, -2.423, 1]

[31.551, -9.879, e, 1.216, -50]

Congrats to Ernie66 and estes01 for FTF!  (Honorable mention to Sleuthers who also solved this puzzle early)

Time flies! So sorry I'm just getting around to logging a cache that belongs to one of my favorite people. The Jeep would have loved this road but Ernie insisted on taking the Subaru. It would have been a lot more comfortable in the Jeep. AND I didn't mistake mica for gold! Well, maybe for a second...
Seems like a very popular area for family camping. Got to love the teenagers on the ATVs!

FTF! Out with estes01 this morning and we were surprised to see this one was still unfound. I'd solved the puzzle when it came out and thought about going out there before work one morning this week, but then got with estes01 and made arrangements to meet this Saturday morning instead. We made our way to the closest point on the side, side, side road and walked from there. We picked up some rock samples from a quartz prospect we ran across that estes01 felt sure are full of gold Smile (or is it mica?)

Fun puzzle (always love a good math puzzle) and great hide, full of fun swag. Thanks for the FTF prize! Dropped 2 trackables, definite favorite, thanks!
