A tricky nano celebrating the soiled doves of Myers Avenue and Poverty Gulch in Cripple Creek, CO. Logbook only, BYOP!

You're looking for a nano near the eh, beautiful, and historic Cripple Creek where it flows down from Poverty Gulch. Bob Womack made the first discovery of gold in upper Poverty Gulch, and as the mines began to move down the valley, the working girls followed. Eventually Myers Avenue became one of the most famous Red Light districts in the west, with the finest establishments, such as the Old Homestead, located towards the end of the street. As you moved further up closer to the mines, the madams disappeared and instead rougher saloons and "cribs" offered the services of less fortunate soiled doves. After you find this cache, stop and remember the hard life of women in the west, respectable and not so.

Major spoiler in hint.

Got to wave at the train passing by way up the hill. The hint made it a very easy find. We did replace the log with a new one. TFTC.

Our day to Cripple Creek for some gold mine tour and caching. We may stop off and drop some coins in a slot machine too. We so get to check out all the beautiful fall colors in the amazing Rocky Mountains.

Some may say we are crazy, but this game/hobby is one of the greatest gifts. Who doesn’t love a great scavenger hunt. Hiking, biking or driving hundreds of miles to sign our name on a piece of paper. This brings us a lifetime of joy.

Thanks for placing this cache and keeping our recreation going. SL/with PoshCacher/MagicCacher.Tftc

Wanted to find a cache while visiting CC, and since we also wanted to explore the red light district, we came down Meyers Ave. It was about to rain, so we used the hunt - thanks!

OCW Rat22 and the family, on the way to Cripple Creek for the afternoon. Short search and the RAT had it in hand. All is well here. We waited 5 minutes for a muggle that was parked at GZ. but soon it was found. TFTC SL
