I came at this one from the nearby GC58VRQ Tough One cache. Thinking the toughest terrain was behind me, I was dismayed that the snow / ice patches gave away to total coverage of knee to thigh deep snow. Fortunately, most of the snow had a ice glaze over it so I could walk on top, only occasionally breaking thru. Given this coverage, I was not confident I was going to make the find given what I had to work with. I'm not sure why all the caches here lack any kind of useful cache description or hint to let you know what to look for; given the tough terrain and spotty GPS reception. I couldn't be sure if the cache was under the snow or not. I searched the logical areas that were accessible, but came up empty. If there is a man made bench here (can't be sure from the cache description), it was totally buried under the snow. The nearest visible, natural benches were about 35 feet from GZ, but my search there also produced no results. Even if the cache description said the container was not findable in the snow, I would have been here. Despite my difficulties, I really enjoyed the area and thank the CO for the placement.

Great hike. We used a trail coming from the Above the S geocache to reach 5 geocaches up here. Looked for a bit of time but found it. Coords off around 16 feet. SL And begun our way back down the trail back to town. TFTC!

This was a tuff climb!! Not to bad after I got to Semi level ground. Going down to the bench was a challenge, wet terrain, steep slope and a few game trails. Heading back to The Shrine road I thought it would be faster and easier than climbing back up. Well it wasn`t! Took a tumble when my hiking pole got stuck in loose terrain, lost my Gps and had to climb back up that steep slope. I did find my Gps right where my fall started.
Great views on top and a good work out.
Thanks
