Large container in Lincoln Mountain Open Space.
*NEW NOTE*
This cache was originally placed by Cub Scouts from Pack 93 in Black Forest Regional Park. Unfortunatley, this park was near the epicenter of the Black Forest Fire in 2013 and this cache, along with most of the beautiful park around it, was burned. When the area started to recover, the landscape had changed so we determined this cache needed a new home.

This Lincoln Mountain Open Space opened in 2013 and is hospitable to horses, hikers, dogs, and bikers. It has some rocks to scramble for the kids and some shady areas for picnic breaks. It is exactly the kind of space we love. We hope you enjoy this lovely park and the beautiful vistas it provides.

Be sure to cache in trash out to keep this park beautiful!

*ORIGINAL NOTE when placed in 2009*
The Pack 93 Tiger Den placed this cache after locating a sister den's cache "Tiger Treasures" nearby. It was a bit of training in wood navigation and just enjoying nature. It was also a lesson in patience and planning since the previous three tries to place this cache were snowed out.

FTF will find a travel bug with a Pack 93 Coin attached. PLEASE keep this little guy moving! There are 8 Tiger Cubs (actually Bear Cubs now) watching its progress around the world.

CONGRATULATIONS to CacheCrewCO for getting out at the break of dawn and being FTF!!

I needed an easy and short day hike, so I came back to the Lincoln Mountain Open Space. I managed to make the find on this one with no drama, other than the rain and hail! Thanks to the CO for placing this nice cache for everyone to find and giving me an excuse to come back to this area. TFTC.

Enjoying a gorgeous Mother's Day weekend here in Colorado. I didn't realize this open space existed until I saw a cluster of caches in this area on the geocaching map. TFTC!

There was a little water inside, but the log was dry. Thanks for another stop along the trail.

My GPSr was sure this was over there, but after widening the search grid, it was an easy find as the hint encouraged. The cache is in good shape, but could use more swag if the next cachers come with gifts!

It's amazing how many trees up here have been struck by lightening. We started to hear some thunder, so started moving a little faster.
