This is the original ammo can for HC #8 that I had to archive.
You will be looking for an ammo can that contains a log book, pen and pencil, and a variety of trading items. Knowing that the elevation of the cache is about 7,050 -7,100 may come in handy. You will have a relatively short but very steep climb.

I looked for probably an hour up and down, back and forth. I checked every pile of deadwood I could find (there are pines everywhere), but no joy. The GPS was all over the place, so that was useless. I'd call this more than a D2, what with the GPS bounce and all.
