The Clunker trail is 1.3 miles point to point and is considered moderate in difficulty. Some mountain bike trail guides call it Klunker Trail.  

This area starts getting hot in the sun the first day of spring, so plan some water. The trail is in excellent condition and children hike it all the time.

Stay on the trail and make a loop out of it returning by the Gunny Loop, Bunker, or Holy Cross trails. 

The cache is not at this location. The cache coordinates may be determined by visiting the other Clunker Trail caches. Six of the other Clunker caches have a number that can be used to find the location of this cache. The numbers are in order, Clunker #1 being A, Clunker #2 B etc.  all number are in order.

got all the needed numbers and happened to have the right tool in my pocket... took a while to open tho... hope some of these things dont get dropped after opening... another scramble. TNLN, T4TC, SL. nice series on a nice cool early morning....

Almost left this one for another time when I realized my geotools were in another pack. Glad I didn't... was able to fashion a suitable implement from a traveler, and it even survived the ordeal. Lovely views. Fun morning after an early rise to glimpse Comet Neowise... loving the adventures. Indeed, life is good. TFTC! cllecr

This find ends this adventure for today. For some unknown reason I had a tool in my pack that just fit this cache, lucky me. Fun string of caches. Now back to the truck and cool air
