After a hike of about 3 or 4 miles, you'll find the trail sign, then its only a half a mile uphill, but what a view.
The inbound hike distance will be approximately 3.59 mi. or 4.59 mi. Depending on where you park.

If you use two vehicles park one at the west end, mm 9, go uphill find the Cache and then go back down the other trail and pick up the other vehicle at the trail head that is East of where you parked the 1st vehicle.

Bring water its dry up there, and no place to use a filter.

On patrol for USFS Poudre Wilderness Volunteers. Was not geocaching but did notice exposed canister. As I suppose, it was a geocache. Signed book and replaced rocks to completely hide it.

Out making a trip on Crosier Mountain today with Icezebra11, the day started out at 9:30 that was cool and breezy, the climb to the top still had me working up a good sweat once in awhile, made finds out of 5 of the 6 caches we went after today. The views were amazing today the entire way up and down the mountain it was the first time for me on this side of Crosier which made it all that more enjoyable thanks Tahosa and Sons for the placement of this cache and bringing me to this special place! Thanks Brad for accompanying along the trail!

Tinytuttle found this cache on our hike today from the Gravel Pit trailhead to the top of Crosier. It was a beautiful day on the mountain. All is well with the cache.

Find 5 of 6 for me on this gorgeous winter day. I loved seeing Pikes Peak small but clear in the distance. My first time on this mountain. Spectacular. Although the wind on top was really cold on my sweaty body. Fav for the hike and the view. TNLNSLTFTC

I talked a non-geocaching friend into hiking up Crosier with me this morning to revisit this cache and retrieve the clues for Mac's and the Cross. (If only I'd known in 2012!) It was an overcast day with a nice cool breeze, so the hike was easier than it might have been given our hot weather recently. It was actually a bit cold in that stiff wind at the summit. Fall has arrived! Snagged the benchmark while I was up there.

I made the climb today with six others from the Fort Collins area. We also managed to climb Knapps Knob as well as West Crosier Mtn. It's hard to believe it's December because it was sunny and mild with just patches of snow. TFTC.
