The rock formation to the south is known as Fan Rock. This is a spectacular little detour off of the better known highway along the upper Little Snake Valley.

If there is no snow and it is dry, this road is easily accessible by a normal car. It gets pretty slick when wet. There is no winter maintenance on this road, so use caution.
