Scenic view  Not Available during winter  Cliff / falling rocks  Bicycles  Motorcycles  No Quads  Medium hike (1km-10km)

A great hike and spectacular views.
The Mt. Tilton trail head is located near the top of Cement Creek Road. The trail allows dirt bikes, mountian bikes, horses, or hiking. Cement Creek Road is accessible by 4x4 vehicle. I rode the trail on my dirt bike. It has some pucker factor riding the ridgelines at high altitude.

Wow, CB_Beauty and I earned every step of the 4.5 terrain rating. We hiked up from the bottom on the Cement Creek side, which wasn't too bad until we had to navigate around a snow field. I was standing nearly upright, yet holding on with my hands trying to scramble up. The hike and view was worth every step. I admire the motorcross riders who can ride where I felt nervous to walk up along the ridge. Fave point for sure
Stay on the trail?

TFTC! SoldierGrrrl and I came out here on the 4th of July to grab the Cement Creek Mine cache but there wasn't enough time for this one. I thought the view and the terrain was so marvelous, I was eager to come out here again 2 days later. Plus, it was the first ride for our geo-dog in our new geo-cart. We parked at the bottom of the hill and hiked up to the cache. We were also rewarded with the awesome view from on top.

Had too many wheels to drive the ridge, but it looked like fun. TFTC

First finders in 2011! Myself and Mixed Nutz Racing team battled snow fields to ride up here and loved every minute of it! the decon container is high and dry in good shape.

Found the cache in good shape today. In the past I've ridden my trailbike on most all of the trails in this area including this one, but today I decided to hike up here from the Taylor side instead. Signed the logbook and headed back by a mostly different route. Nice location for a cache. Thanks!

Hard to believe this was a FTF - my first too! Had this in the GPS and happened to be camping up that way. Came from the Taylor River side. Could not be so close and not go get it. Nice hike up - beautiful day after two days of rain. Flowers were spectacular all the way up, and even up top they were wonderful. Great hide - the container had some water in it, so I dried it out and hopefully it will stay dry. Recommended hike - nice views all the way round - GPS said 12441' at cache. Took a bug, left a quarter. Also will move the geocoin on soon. TFTC and the hike.
