Cement Creek View

Coloradobob brought me to this spot and we decided it was a great place for a cache. This is my favorite view in the area. Elevation 12,416 feet.
The cache can be accessed by 4x4 vehicle, ATV, or dirt bike. I was going to rate the terrain at 4.5 but the second time I was up here hanging out a Nissan Path Finder made it up. to get to the cache take Cement Creek Road until you reach the summit. There is a foot path leading to the cache. You are looking for an ammo can.

TFTC! Happy 4th of July. I worked 6 hours this morning and still made it to up to 12,400 el. before the day was out. This was a special ride because it was the first in our new geo-cart. We had no trouble finding the cache at this really neat location with this machinery here. The view up here is amazing!

WOO HOO, first find of the year for this cache. CB_Beauty and I made our inaugural voyage in our new G-O-Cart (GEOCART, get it? BigSmile ) a side-by side to go find this cache. We made it to within .3 miles of cache before the road became a little to scary for us, so we hiked the rest of the way. So gorgeous up here, and had the place to ourselves.

Made the ascent from the meadow below as a large group of us backpacked in from 2.5 miles out. Really enjoyed the hike as it was quite a challenge for most of us. Spent some time at this spot contemplating how it ended up here. Very cool spot and thanks for the placement!

I rode 98 miles today on the ATV just to log this cache. The views and pictures were nice too.

I was riding in the area with friends so I stopped to check on this one. All is well. It was a bit more covered than my original hide but there are only so many spots next to the diesel engin.
