Came up the road to the recommended parking and easily walked over to GZ. Pretty cool to find this lonely cache. Last found on 7/21/2016. Pretty easy to see once at the right spot. TFTC.

The skies were getting dark so I almost didn't continue down the road. But that was closer to the pass, so I went ahead. It was worth it. The wild flowers were beautiful. The meadow near the cache very pleasant. The pictures had gotten wet and the log was damp but usable. TFTC.

We are on a day trip from steamboat springs and having a lovely time enjoying the incredible weather and views. We were surprised by a large elk while we were walking down to gz. As previously noted the log is damp but signable. Thanks for bringing us here and we will give a fav point for great locale! 7/12/16, 12:28 PM Find #5084

Camping with friends at Meadows CG & planned to grab a few up here.
Someone had left a bike & a seat at the campsite and they actually returned as we left. I said that we had been Geocaching & waved vaguely in the direction, but I think he was just a little puzzled.
Thanks!

On a weekend quest to get some Delorme pages knocked off, visit some new counties, and see some sights. All were accomplished. Always nice to find an old timer cache like this still active. Log is still wet and kinda funky smelling, but signable. TFTC!!!!

Grabbing a few older caches on the pass, a nice diversion from holiday traffic. Muggles were setting up camp at the described area, so I had to bushwack in from the south. Lots of downed trees and snow drifts still in the forest. Cache had a little bit of water in it, but the log was dry. Nice to get another 2003 cache. Cheers!
