This area has a main trail that is frequently used by hikers, runners and bikers. In addition there are several smaller social trails that take you deeper into the woods. Enjoy the "road less traveled" as you find the cache.

This is the first cache set by our group, The B-Team, in an area that we enjoy hiking and playing in the summertime. It is a short hike from a public parking area in all seasons but winter. In the winter, this area is part of the Steamboat Nordic Center trail system and will require a trails pass to access. Enjoy a stroll along the creek, bring a rod as the brook trout fishing is fun too. The cache contained a log, pen, and several small trade items at the time it was set.

We were getting pretty close to giving up with our GPSs refusing to settle in until Bushmathster spotted what appeared to be a hint and sure enough the cache was nearby. TFTC!

55Connie and I returned today after going back to our condo and reading previous entries and noticing something. We had been searching about 30' away. We should have expanded our search area. The container was a tad larger than we had expected originally also, which should have made the find easier, but then it was covered with camo tape. Thanks for a good hide in a great area.
